We purchased my daughter’s dance shoes on Saturday and she danced in them Saturday night. Sadly they started to curl on the bottom. So the next morning we went back downstairs and spoke with Karen who immediately fixed them. My daughter continued through the day and sadly, they began to curl again. Karen swapped them out for an (almost identical) pair that she had there at the event. We left to return home right after that. Once home, my daughter laced them up and walked around and noticed those very slight differences immediately. Her heart was broken thinking she was going to be stuck with shoes that were not quite exactly what she had originally, and loved. I reached out to Karen who just happened to be in the office/warehouse and immediately went to see if she had another pair of the “original” ones. A few minutes later, she texted that she did and they were shipped out to us that day (while I shipped back the replacements from the event). It’s not often that you find someone (and a company) that’s willing to stand by their product, however Karen, her office manager, and Dance Connections surely do.
On a side note: I also purchased my custom orthotics that day and as a person who has leg length discrepancies and scoliosis, these are game changes. They were custom made to fit my feet/body and not just something off the shelf.
I truly appreciate working with Karen and this company. We will be “forever” customers.

The shag shoe is my go to dance shoe, I can't wear high heels.
Staff was completely focused on insuring a good fit. Excellent customer service. The shoes are comfortable without any break-in period even after several hours of dancing.
I’m very pleased with the purchase and quick delivery process. I wore my new shoes last nite for the first time. This is my first pair of dance shoes and I’m impressed. They are lightweight and fit perfect.
I’m guessing that the soles will break in and become easier to spin and turn.

the fit is perfect and the slight wedge gives just the right amount of support I need to dance all night! couldnt be more pleased with the shoes - will be getting the purple ones soon! Also would like to give special recognition to Melody - she spent so much time making sure I had the right fit - what an asset!
I bought the same exact shoes 11 years ago that were leather, and this time I went with the suede finish. I LOVE THEM and will always wear them for dancing :)

I had some custom comfort shag shoes made and ordered these on a whim because I liked the other ones so much. I use these mostly for WCS. These came fast, and are AMAZING shoes!! I have a narrow ankle and thin (top to bottom) foot. I always have to punch lots of extra holes, to shorten the straps, sometimes as much as 2 inches. These are totally adjustable, so fat feet and thin feet alike can get a fantastic fit!! They are attractive, comfortable, with sufficient support, fit well right out of the box, and are fast which is important to me. I can't recommend these highly enough! If they go on sale again I will be buying in several colors:)
